BOOKING CONDITIONS
1. BOOKING
To confirm your booking please complete the booking form and return it to me with a cheque for 50% of
the total. The cheque should be made payable to Mrs A F Newman and this should reach my address
within seven working days of making your provisional telephone booking.
2. PAYMENT TERMS
To secure the booking there is a 50% deposit of the total rental charge payable at the time of booking
(see clause 1 above). The balance is payable 8 weeks before your departure date.
3. CANCELLATION CHARGES
Should you cancel your booking you must notify me in writing and cancellation charges will be levied as follows: -
i. 8 weeks or more before the start of the letting period, loss of deposit.
ii. 8 weeks or less before the start date of the letting period 100% of the total rental charge but if re-let then you will receive all monies back with the exception of the deposit.
4. SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of £800 is payable two weeks before the rental date. This will be refunded at the end of your stay, less telephone charges (if any), electricity, deductions for damages to premises or its contents.
5. NUMBER OF PERSONS
Only the persons named on the booking form can use the property. The persons both adults and children must not exceed the number of sleeping places indicated, except in the case of infants (under two years of age). Two cots are available.
6. INSURANCE
Please remember to take out comprehensive travel insurance, which will cover cancellation, luggage, health and everything. As I the property owner takes no responsibility for accidents of any nature occurring within the boundaries of the property, its pool or use of any of the facilities and equipment. Use of the property and its facilities is entirely at your own risk.
7. PETS
Without exception no pets will be permitted on the property unless by prior arrangement.
8. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Please try not to arrive before 4.00pm as cleaning will be taking place. Our local representative will be there to meet you but it is advisable to let us have your mobile telephone number in order that we can check specific times with you on the day. Our representative will show you the property and answer any questions you may have, her telephone number will be forwarded to you at a later date for use in case of need. The property must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure in order that adequate cleaning can take place.
GENERAL NOTES
1. DIRECTIONS
The directions will be forwarded to you later but I highly recommend that you purchase a Yellow Michelin Map 245, which will guide you through the Cote d' Azur on major and minor roads.
2. CLEANING OF THE PROPERTY
Clients will find the property clean and tidy upon arrival and should leave it in the same state upon departure.
During your stay should you require additional cleaning this can be arranged.
3. LAUNDRY
There is a washing machine for your use and clothes maidens for drying. At the end of your stay, please strip the beds, gather the used bathroom and kitchen linen and leave in the laundry room
4. RUBBISH
The rubbish/garbage/trash/poubelle is collected by the council. The details of where you leave the bins on rubbish day will be in the information file in the villa. Please do not leave any rubbish at the house at the end of your stay.
5. PLUMBING
Please do not dispose of anything other than what nature intended and mall quantities of toilet paper down the WC's. In addition, the downstairs toilet must have one sachet of solution put down each week; our local rep. will explain all.
6. KITCHEN
You will find supplies of herbs and spices, sugar, tea, coffee, salt, pepper, toilet paper, cleaning products, etc. in the house. As a courtesy to the other people arriving after you, please replace whatever you use. At the end of your stay, please make sure that all washing up is done, even those items in the dishwasher. Please clean out the fridge/freezer and dispose of any perishables - see Rubbish.
7. SWIMMING POOL
The swimming pool has a shallow end and a gated fence can be used if required. There are to be no glasses or breakables used by or in the pool. You will find plastic cups and beakers for this purpose. Please ensure your group is water safe or where young children are concerned, they are observed and cared for by a responsible water safe adult. The pool can be heated with prior arrangement or contact can be made with our local rep. at the time.
8. GLOBAL TRADING
Myperfectretreat (www.myperfectretreat.com) is a business based in England, and is therefore governed
by English law. This is applicable for anybody who can view the website in any other country, and
/ or has contact with Myperfectretreat (www.myperfectretreat.com) by any other means of communication
such as electronic mail, fax or post, without necessarily having viewed the website
Myperfectretreat (www.myperfectretreat.com).
9. DATA PROTECTION
Myperfectretreat (www.myperfectretreat.com) is registered in the UK under the Data Protection Act.
You consent to our use of any personal details you give us for our own internal administrative
purposes, and for future marketing if you have agreed / 'opted-in'. If you do agree / 'opt-in'
and you give us fax, phone, mobile phone or e-mail address details you authorise us to contact
you using any of those methods. If you decide that you no longer wish us to communicate with you,
or the details we hold on you change, or you decide to register with the Telephone Preference
Service or Fax Preference Service in the UK or any equivalent, you agree to tell us to enable us
to update our records. You agree that we may transmit data to your computer to store by means of
cookies on your system.
10. COMPLAINTS

We will then work to resolve the problem for you. If at the end of your stay with us, you still
feel that your complaint has not been dealt with properly, you must first notify us in writing
within 30 days of your scheduled date of return and we will do our best to reach an amicable
solution quickly.
